inconsistencies

can I make another promise
that I'll break, as soon as I can.
'cause that's the plan

perceive the inconsistencies
of all that I have to say
it's always been that way
just never noticed

beyond that horizon over there
is somewhere without a care
somewhere that calls to me

so I'll say what I have to
and then disregard
anything I've said before
just because it's understood
